Wood Library models are built right alongside the brand’s Core series on the production line at the PRS factory in Stevensville, Maryland. Built by some of the finest craftspeople in the American electric guitar manufacturing business, the Wood Library program gives CME customers an accessible route for obtaining premium upgrades and customizations—many of which are significantly more affordable than one might otherwise find among instruments of the same caliber. Weight: 7lbs. 15oz.

Woods
CME’s premium guitar-buying team works closely with the PRS headquarters to individually select tonewoods for every new instrument we order from the PRS “Wood Library.” Each piece of wood housed in the factory’s “Wood Library” is distinguished by its distinct figure, weight, and hue. Together, these elements comprise the unique sonic voice and visual character of a particular PRS Wood Library instrument.

Finishes
Highlighting the elegance and figure of the woods we chose, the finish on every PRS Wood Library electric guitar imbues each with its singular aesthetic, making a definitive visual statement.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
