Up for sale is a 2023 Guild M-40e in natural finish. Made in California, USA!
This guitar comes with a hardshell case and pro setup by our in house tech.
Weight: 3lbs. 9oz.
Formerly known as the F-20, this style of guitar was made popular by many artists in the folk-era. Back under a new name and designed with some of the modern techniques pioneered by master luthier, Ren Ferguson, this small-bodied American-made sweetheart still radiates the same, charming vintage character. The M-40 Troubadour’s Sitka spruce top paired with African mahogany back and sides provides a delicate, well-rounded tone that is perfect for fingerstyle playing and light strumming. The small, concert-size body is comfortable and lightweight and features white ABS binding, a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, and a bone nut and saddle. A thin satin varnish gives this guitar its familiar, broken-in look and feel, while also allowing it to breathe. The M-40 Troubadour’s appointments include a vintage style rosette and Guild’s peak logo inlaid on the headstock. Each M-40 comes with a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, and ships with a humidified hardshell case.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
